General F.A.Qs

1. How do I know the print will last and not fade?

All work is printed on the finest quality archival, cotton rich paper to archival standards by the professional printing house, ORMS, that I work in conjunction with. Each print is checked against the artist proof for correctness of print colours.

2. How do I know I’m getting an original print from the artist?

Each limited-edition print is signed, numbered and titled by hand by the artist. It will also be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with an embossed logo. It is personally signed, embossed and has an extra small image of the art work on the certificate.

3. How does the pricing work on Limited editions

In a limited-edition series, the value increases as the print number declines. In other words, if there are 50 prints made available the most affordable will be print 50 of 50. The most expensive, as it is the very last one available will be 1 of 50. The pricing works on a sliding scale, increasing with each print that is sold. This adds to the investment value of the prints over time.

4. What are the standard sizes that the prints are available in?

The standard sizes for limited edition prints are A2 (420 × 594 mm or 16.5 × 23.4 inches), A1 (594 × 841 mm or 23.4 × 33.1 inches), and A0 (841 × 1189 mm or 33.1 × 46.8 inches). Each print is framed with a white bleed area for framing that differs depending on the size of the print.

5. Can I get a bigger or smaller size print?

On request, I can quote of getting a custom size printed. The possibility of will depend on which specific print it is and what the custom requirements are.

6. Can limited-edition series be extended if listed as sold-out.?

The value of a print lies in which series number it is in a limited edition. Once sold out the overall value of the series increases. This is what makes it an investment and why a limited-edition series won’t be extended. While no more prints are available from the artist, in time prints may come available from other art collectors.

7. Are the prints framed and can I choose the frame?

As a standard, the prints are shipped unframed so that you can select your own frame. However, should you require the prints framed in a bespoke manner, we can arrange for the print room to quote on framing options. Please note: framing is an additional cost. Once framed the prints can be shipped in a specialized shipping crate at the buyer’s expense. Please contact us if this is your requirement.

8. How do the prints get shipped?

All prints will be shipped rolled up and packaged with the utmost care in a reinforced cardboard tube. They will be shipped via courier, directly to the address provided.
