I love the early mornings, getting up before the sun and attempting the perfect place with the perfect light. It gets a little more challenging as the seasons change and it’s wet and cold, but I get captivated by the changing scene unfolding in front of me, where time gets away from you, and disappointment when you haven’t managed to capture the idea of what you see. And so the journey begins, thinking about the scene. Thinking of how it’ll change in which season, what light, what weather pattern, what tide. And then possible planning as to when it’ll be ok to come again and try the same photo scene. And each time I go back to the scene, I’ve become a different person, looking out for different things just like the scene I’m looking at.
